A friend of mine recently sent me a video to check out which supposedly shows a UFO zip across the screen. This Utah UFO video is gaining a bit of steam so I wanted to weight in on it. Shot in Beaver, Utah a few years back, this video was originally made while flying a drone around to capture additional b-roll footage for something else.
Is it a bird, is it a plane?
In the video below, I’ll take the Utah UFO footage into Premiere Pro and Photoshop, do some tweaking to the images, take a closer look, and try to determine if we’re seeing something caught in camera, if it was composited in, if it’s an alien spaceship or just a bird, and try to see exactly what’s going on.
The video above is a bit long since I really slow the video down and take a look at what we’re seeing. I adjust a lot of the settings, zoom in to up to 400%, and try to get a better look at the blurry image on screen. I also go into Photoshop and just a Threshold adjustment to look at relative light levels. Basically, I’m trying to find out if the image we’re seeing was comped in from a 3D program or was captured in camera.
I hope you check out my Utah UFO video on YouTube and give the ole channel I’m starting up a Like and a Subscribe. You know, the same thing every YouTube creator says in their videos.
Even if you watch the video on here, please take a second to swing by the YouTube page and give it a thumbs up (or down) and leave a comment on how I missed something and don’t know what I’m talking about because I’m obviously biased, closed-minded, and just a skeptic.
Check out my other video and blog on spooky ghosts and how they’re not real.
